Cables insulated in polyvinyl or polyethylene cover are intended to transfer electricity. Power lines can run in the air, inside and outside the premises and in cable channels, as well as placed directly in the ground - so anywhere cables are exposed to high mechanical damage, mainly in the case of tensile forces. They can also be installed on brackets on vertical walls, where they are not exposed to potential damage.
Standard electrical and mechanical testing parameters verify: insulation electrical resistance, cores, insulation and armour resistance, measurement of armour cores strength and determination of the maximum force applied when placing.
